my mom is in her 50′s she is too old to text, now she is texting me all the time. How is it that she learn how to send a text message all of a sudden?. sending text mssages is really for young people like us teens and stuff

AM I RIGHT?

Your mom could have asked a co-worker or a family member how to text. Actually parents texting their kids is the new craze. I live on the other side of the country from my mom and she always texts me or calls me. More and more adults are learning how to text because their kids do it and they want the extra contact with them. Plus its faster if you want to ask a simple question. A parent can text their child "What time will you be home?" and the child can answer quicker. Since your mom has a phone, she isn’t too old to text.

Is it normal for gay men to become mean?

I’m 19. I’m in the closet with no hope of coming out. my mom has expressed extreme hatred of gay men. I stay sexually inactive to keep peace with her. My question is if it is natural for people in my circumstance to become mean and bitter? I’m not this way with everyone, just family. The more I try to hold onto my family, the more I actually don’t want too. I fear hating them.

I think it’s natural to be angry when faced with homophobia
it doesn’t help you feel like you have "no hope of coming out" – have you thought about leaving home?

edit: why are you 19 here and on another question from 3 weeks ago 22?

i need to write a poem for mothers day. anyone know how i can get one off the internet without my teacher finding out it was off the internet??

Ooooorrrrr…
You could write a poem about your mom! Make it simple and honest, then give it to her for Mother’s day! She’d love it. You can just relax, and let the thoughts come to you. Writing poetry isn’t as hard as some people make it out to be.

Here, I’ll write one right now to show you how easy it is :D

For you, Mom

When hours old I cried
You held me
When months old I crawled
You cheered for me
When years old I skinned my knee
You made me well
When school-aged I came home sad
You knew just what to tell
When learning how to love
You guided
When nursing broken hearts
You sided
When going on my own
You cried
But, Mom, you know
I’ll always hold a piece of you inside

If I were you, I’d search Google for inspiration, but don’t steal a poem! Write your own. Then print it out and put it in a frame or on a card and give it to your mom for Mother’s Day!

My Mom…….?

okay, so my mom grounded me for three months cuz she told me that she didn’t want to hear another word from me and i said "but mom" and so i got grounded for 3 months. so anyway, my aunt came over the other day and my mom told her what happened. only the only thing is, i’m a calm person, and my mom did a really bad impression of me and acted like i screamed and yelled when i really calm and talked normal the whole time. so now my aunt thinks i’m a spoiled little brat who has anger issues and yells at my mom all the time. anyway i stayed in my room the whole time she was doing that and listened through the wall. then when my aunt left i came out to my mom and i said "mom," and thats all i said and she goes "Shut your mouth! You are not allowed to talk to me until you learn to respect me! and you’re not allowed to call me your mom. you dont deserve to!" and so i just walked away and went into my room and when i woke up this morning she left a note and in it she said i have anger issues.
do i sound like the one with anger issues.
i keep suggesting therapy and i said i would go if she would and she always says she will just to shut me up but she never makes any appointments or anything. and when i try to calmly talk to her shes the one who always burst out screaming when i was talking normal to her.

omg i feel really bad i wish i could help and u DO NOT have anger issues i wish she would listen and talk with u… if uever need some comfort i will always be here to talk :)
